Taxi services post-Covid in Potsdam and Canton, NY

Taxi Zero is the only taxi service that exists in Potsdam, NY, post Covid.  Potsdam Taxi ended their longtime service to the Village of Potsdam during the pandemic.  There are a couple of Uber taxi providers in Potsdam, but they mainly operate on weekends after 9pm, only.

In Canton, NY, the only taxi service that is based there is called North Star taxi.  Canton Taxi, a long time service operated by Larry, also ended operations during the pandemic and has not been available since.  People still ask about Eli Carrier Taxi, but that service ended over 10 years ago.  Some business cards can still be found posted in various areas in the Canton, NY area such as laundry mats and government buildings. 

Other taxi services that provide taxi service to Potsdam, NY and Canton, NY but are based elsewhere include Massena Transport, based in Massena, NY, Frary taxi, based in Ogdensburg, NY, and the former SR Med Cab, which now operates under a new name, maybe Northern Taxi, or something like that, are based in Ogdensburg, NY as well.

Lashomb taxi, based in Ogdensburg, NY, now has St. Lawrence Taxi emblems on his car, so he may be operating under two names, currently.

Medicaid taxi service is available only in Massena, Ogdensburg, and Watertown.  Neither Taxi Zero nor North Star Taxi provide Medicaid taxi service.
